Today was a fun day. I actually went shopping for the first time since like days after Christmas. Its weird going with different people, but nice. And then watching the Academy Awards. I called every single winner, except best actress. I was hoping "There Will Be Blood," would have won more awards but at least Daniel Day Lewis won best actor. I saw every single nominated movie except for Atonement, and "There Will Be Blood," was my favorite, i liked it much more then "No Country for Old Men."
All i have been watching lately are documentaries, i've been trying to get a few for free to post online for all of you, but i'm having a little trouble, still trying though. I must say, one all of you must find and see is "Who Killed The Electric Car?" It is amazing, far better then any Michael Moore doc, its about how the electric car represented the future for the car industry, but due to the overwhelming power of the oil industry and its Washington lobbyists, it completely disappeared. Watch it!!
Anyways, i don't have much time to post tonight, i just found out that a 6 page paper i thought was due on wednesday is due tomorrow, so i'm screwed. Anyways, this video is hilarious, there is a part 2 i'll probably post in a few days. The music i'm posting tonight is a folk cover of pb & j's young folks, pretty, pretty, pretty good. And the other is a cover of the arcade fire's "no cars go" its slow, but if you like that style, enjoy. Have a great night everyone.
